Bed Bug Service

Heat. One Visit. Gone.

Our bed bug division, Avid Bed Bug Professionals, serves the Central Arkansas area with thermal remediation that kills bed bugs at every life stage, including eggs, in a single treatment.

Bed bug heat treatment is the fastest, cleanest, and most reliable way to eliminate a bed bug infestation. We raise the ambient temperature of the affected rooms to 120 plus degrees Fahrenheit and hold it long enough to kill adults, nymphs, and eggs. One treatment. No chemicals in your bed, no repeat visits, no throwing out your furniture.

What Sets Us Apart

Kills All Life Stages

Unlike chemical treatments, heat penetrates eggs. Eggs are the reason chemical treatments so often require follow up visits.

Chemical Free

No pesticides in your bedroom, on your pillows, or soaked into your mattress. Just heat.

One Treatment

In most cases, a single heat cycle eliminates the infestation. No scheduling three visits across six weeks.

Pet Safe

We move pets and heat sensitive electronics ahead of time. The home is ready to use the same night.

Sister Division

Avid Bed Bug Professionals is operated by the same Rice family that runs Avid Pest Control, now focused on Central Arkansas.

Former Franchise Operators

We previously ran Midwest Bed Bug Services, a franchise heat treatment company. We kept the expertise and dropped the franchise overhead.

What This Service Covers

  • Common bed bug (Cimex lectularius), the species that infests homes and hotels
  • Bed bug eggs, which are invisible to most chemical treatments
  • All nymph stages, which chemical treatments often miss
  • Cluster infestations across multiple rooms treated in one session

Our Process

01

Inspect

Confirm bed bugs, assess rooms affected, identify heat sensitive items to move.

02

Prep

We walk you through prep, typically one to two days of laundry, and relocating pets and sensitive items.

03

Heat

Industrial heaters raise room temperature to lethal thresholds and hold it for the required kill window.

04

Verify

Post treatment inspection and a follow up check to confirm zero activity.

Frequently Asked

Questions Answered

In the large majority of cases, yes. Heavy infestations or structures with heat loss issues sometimes need a follow up, but this is the exception.
We move heat sensitive electronics and pets out ahead of time. Standard household items, furniture, clothes, bedding, stay in place.
Chemicals do not penetrate bed bug eggs. That is why chemical only treatments typically require three visits spaced over weeks. Heat kills the eggs outright.
Our bed bug division markets Central Arkansas specifically, so we do not encroach on the NWA territory served by our former franchise partners. If you are in NWA, call us and we can point you to a trusted operator.
A typical single family home is a six to eight hour window including prep, heat hold, and cooldown. You sleep in your own bed that night.
