Rodent Control

Mice Out. Kept Out.

Mice and rats do not stop at bait. Sealing entry points is the difference between a one time fix and a yearly problem. We do both.

Rodent control is only half trap work. The other half, and the part most companies skip, is exclusion, closing every gap a mouse can squeeze through. A mouse needs a quarter inch. A rat needs half an inch. Find those openings, seal them, and the population collapses because nothing new can get in.

What Sets Us Apart

Full Property Inspection

Foundation, roofline, utility penetrations, garage door seals, and attic vents all get checked.

Exclusion Work

We seal entry points with copper mesh, steel wool, silicone, and hardware cloth. Rodent proof, not caulk deep.

Strategic Trapping

Snap traps placed along runways with tamper resistant stations where pets or kids could reach.

Tamper Resistant Bait

Outdoor locked bait stations secured to the ground, servicing rats and mice at the property edge.

Sanitation Guidance

We point out food sources, clutter, and water that are keeping rodents interested.

Follow Up

Return visits to clear traps, confirm activity has stopped, and top up bait stations.

What This Service Covers

  • House mouse (Mus musculus), the most common indoor rodent
  • White footed mouse and deer mouse, frequent in rural and suburban Ozark homes
  • Norway rat (Rattus norvegicus), larger and burrowing, usually at ground level
  • Roof rat (Rattus rattus), less common in AR/MO but moving north
  • Rice rats, common in waterfront and rural SW Missouri properties

Our Process

01

Inspect

Identify species, locate droppings, runways, nesting, and entry points.

02

Exclude

Seal every opening bigger than a pencil. This is the most important step.

03

Knock Down

Trapping and locked bait stations reduce the active population.

04

Verify

Return to clear traps, confirm no new activity, and document the work.

Frequently Asked

Questions Answered

Droppings are the clearest sign. Mouse droppings are rice shaped, about a quarter inch. Rat droppings are larger, about three quarters of an inch. You may also hear scratching in walls or attic at night.
No, and any company telling you otherwise is setting you up for a repeat problem next fall. Bait without exclusion is a revolving door.
We use tamper resistant locked stations outdoors where pets cannot access the bait. Indoor work is done with snap traps in places pets cannot reach.
Exclusion is immediate once sealed. Population knock down typically takes one to three weeks depending on how established they are.
If our exclusion missed a spot, we come back and fix it. This is one of the reasons we walk the property carefully up front.
